Video Camera Inspections in Elkhart and Kosciusko Counties, Indiana
Video cameras have become one of the most valuable tools in the plumbing business. At Roto-Rooter™ Sewer & Drain Service,
we offer thorough video camera inspections for sewer and drain lines.
Video Camera Line Inspection
At our plumbing company, we use specially made fiber optic cameras to inspect underground sewer lines and other piping to determine the condition of the pipe's interior. We also use cameras to locate pipes, as well as lost jewelry and other valuables. Video cameras have even been used to find animals that have become lost or trapped in pipes.

How Video Cameras Work
A flexible rod with a high-resolution video camera on its tip is inserted into the pipe for inspection. Video images are transmitted to the camera operator, and can be saved to a videotape for permanent record. Radio transmitters on the camera record the depth and physical location from the surface so that defects and obstructions can be corrected in a cost effective manner.
